01. Assessment Framework & Weightings
Properties are evaluated as integrated luxury destinations. Our hotel rating scale weights room acoustics, mattress comfort, and bathroom engineering at 25%, hospitality responsiveness at 20%, culinary collections at 20%, pool and spa wellness at 20%, architectural layout and connectivity at 10%, and theatrical productions at 5%.
We do not grade on a curve. A property must demonstrate consistent operational polish across weekday and weekend occupancies to earn top marks.
02. Separation of Gaming and Hotel Scores
Gaming floors receive an independent score calculated as the arithmetic average of four criteria: Games and Room Breadth (25%), Table Standards and Felt Placards (25%), Floor Comfort and Air Quality (25%), and Player Care and Responsible Protocols (25%).
The gaming score is never blended into the hotel score. A lavish suite cannot compensate for poor table game rules, nor does a world-renowned poker room offset subpar room maintenance. This separation allows travelers to select properties aligned with their individual preferences.
03. Mathematical Rigor in Game Guides
Our strategy guides explain card scoring, house hold statistics, and floor rules in objective terms. Statistical figures are cross-referenced with academic datasets from the UNLV Center for Gaming Research and regulatory statutes from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
We do not publish betting progressions, purported winning systems, or promotional marketing offers. The house maintains a mathematical advantage over time across all banked casino games.
04. Commercial Independence Guarantee
Inclusion in our rankings cannot be purchased. We accept zero advertising, zero room booking referral fees, and zero gambling affiliate revenue. Readers will never find outbound referral links designed to generate commissions when a user wagers or reserves lodging.
05. Accuracy and Reader Corrections
Resorts alter table minimums, convert blackjack felt rules, and renovate restaurants on ongoing schedules. We welcome factual corrections from travelers and resort staff. Inquiries submitted to our editorial desk are audited against official property records and updated promptly.
